Projects

Hello and welcome to Marina's portfolio! Below are some of Marina's past projects she would like to highlight.

Axel AI Chatbot

Researcher & Developer

I built Axel, a custom AI chatbot designed to help a small business reduce repetitive customer questions and reclaim valuable time. The chatbot provides 24/7 real‑time answers, improves customer confidence, and supports sales without adding payroll. I created, trained, embedded, and deployed the agent myself, refining it through testing, debugging, and user‑focused design. This project blended AI, UX/CX, and technical problem‑solving to deliver an accessible automation solution for a lean retail operation.

Comfort AI Agent

Researcher & Developer

I designed and deployed an AI agent that preserves institutional knowledge by making thousands of SharePoint documents searchable, trustworthy, and easy to navigate. The agent answers user questions with source-cited responses, adapts to new uploads, and respects access controls. I applied UX principles, ran usability testing, and built safeguards to ensure accuracy and user trust. This solution helps teams retain expert insights and empowers engineers to find reliable answers fast.

Choosy

Researcher & User Experience Designer

The "dating app fatigue" is real. The fact that there are so many dating apps, with newer ones being added to the pool each day, goes to show that existing ones aren't effective in helping people find relevant matches and make connections.

Choosy is designed to be a digital platform for people looking to find and build meaningful relationships. Our designs address some of the shortcomings of the existing dating apps through a human-centered approach.

Design Tools SharePoint Site

Researcher & Designer

With so many different design tools on the market today, which is the best to use for each situation? Do D-Ford Designers have access to those tools? And where can designers find a quick, easy to understand tutorial and tips for using that tool? These are some of the essential questions this project aimed to answer.

Based on D-Ford employee's feedback, a SharePoint site was created as a informational resource for internal company use to enhance productivity and work satisfaction.
